A route has been mapped to bring the Greenway across South Carolina, linking important cities like Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, and Charleston.

In Myrtle Beach, 2 trails have been designated: Harrelson Boulevard Trail and Grissom Parkway Trail. In North Myrtle Beach, near the SC/NC border, the Barefoot Resort section of the North Myrtle Beach Trail has been deisgnated as ECG. In the south, Bluffton's New River Trail brings users through antebellum rice fields with great birdwatching potential, and the Revolutionary War Trail in Jasper County will oneday be designated, allowing ECG users access to Revolutionary War sites. Other roadway rights-of-way and rail-trails have potential to bring the Greenway along the state's scenic and historic coastal region.

We are presently seeking individuals who are interested in serving on the SC planning committee. If you would like to help, please contact one of the South Carolina State Committee Co-Chairs,
